She is truly the total package. She’s thriving in her foster home alongside other dogs and even does well with dog-savvy cats. She walks nicely on leash, is super cuddly, and absolutely soaks up attention whenever it’s offered. True to her pointer roots, Hillary has a fun, playful energy and loves to stay busy. Older kids would be the best fit for her.

Journey is a happy, handsome guy who was picked up as a stray in the South. He spent several months in the shelter in Mississippi while completing heartworm treatment, and now he has a clean bill of health and is ready for a family of his own here in Maine. said to be housebroken and loves all dogs.

Her sister was adopted a short time after they arrived, but Wasabi has now been with us several months still looking for her forever family. He’s a sweet medium-sized guy. He started out very insecure and is doing better day by day with his southern foster family. He is very food-motivated and is becoming more trusting with consistency. House-trained, crate-trained and walks well on leash. Great with cats and dogs and most likely would do best in a home with other confident dogs.
