8 month old, Terrier Mix
Chico’s foster reported that he was a big, goofy pup who loved to play, especially with his foster pen mate. They shared that he did best with a yard where he could run and play. He enjoyed splashing in the pool in his pen, especially during hot weather. His foster believed he would do great with another playful dog in the home.

1.5 years old, Husky Mix
Del’s foster described her as a sweet, independent, and very smart husky who enjoys affection on her own terms. Playful and vocal, she loves exploring and water play, including pools, sprinklers, and hoses. She gets along with other dogs. Cats and children are unknown.

5 years old, Shepherd/Mastiff Mix
He is the doggiest of dogs! He is food-focused, and does have some resource-guarding tendencies. He’s open to meeting potential canine roommates, and leans towards females more often. If you’ve got treats, and love the outdoors, you’re the one for him!

3 years old, Husky Mix
A big boy who loves to stretch his legs, play fetch in the yard (Though it's 50/50 if he brings it back!), and FOOD! Morado is a smart boy who knows sit and has been working on his leash manners. He catches onto things quickly (Like sitting in front of you instead of jumping on you for attention) and treat based training has been working well with this guy! He can be your typical husky mix- loud, rambunctious, and full of playful spirit and sass!
Although Morado prefers his home to be free of felines, he would do well with kids over the age of 12. He has a tendency of being snatchy with toys and treats, although we have been working on it here at KVHS! As for dogs, Morado can get over excited when meeting them. He's looking for a dog who tolerates rough play styles!
Overall, Morado is an energetic, eager to please, handsome dude looking for a home to keep him active and get out that energy!

3 years old, Chihuahua Mix
8 pounds of pure sunshine. He loves lap time, belly rubs, squeaky toys, and rolling around outside like the whole yard was made just for him. He has already learned sit, especially when treats are involved, and he will happily remind you if you miss a spot during a belly rub session. Good with kids, dogs, and cats.

Handsome Church is amazing! Let me tell you about the progress we’ve made! He has mastered “sit”, and he hasn’t peed in the house in two days. Yay! We’ve been on a few walks around the neighborhood, and Church has been pretty darn awesome for a dog who’s new to leash walking. He doesn’t pull too hard- maybe every now and then when he wants to get to a particularly interesting smell.
