petMAINE is an annual travel guide for those exploring Maine with their pets.
We are looking for a 2027 cover photo.
The individual who submits the photo we chose will win a gift basket valued at approx. $150. Gifts to be announced.
If you have a photo of your pet(s) enjoying Maine that you would like us to consider,

Submission Guidelines:
• You must own the rights or have permission to publish the photo.
• Photos should be vertical and a minimum of 300dpi. (in general anything over 3.5 megabytes (MB) would be classed as a high-resolution image)
• Photos with Maine scenery are preferred.
• Please include where in Maine the photo was taken.
• Submissions close October 30th and a winner will be selected by November 30th.
Horizontal photos may be considered for another section but do not qualify for the contest or gift basket.
(Photos may be cropped or modified to fit our design and print needs.)
By entering the contest, participants acknowledge and agree that submitted photos may be used in print and digital publications associated with petMAINE and Downeast Dog News and may be modified for design or production purposes.
