Agatha & Louise to Close Retail Store to Focus on Growing Internet Business

PORTLAND, Maine (April 19, 2009)-Persephone and Gray Cabaniss are pleased to announce the restructuring of their Portland, ME based business Agatha & Louise, INC. At the end of April they will close their Fore St. retail store to focus on operating their growing Internet businesses www.agathaandlouise.com and www.aandlhome.com. They have taken office space at 322 Fore St., Suite B, and plan to have a showroom as well as an office at this location.
“We have seen tremendous growth on-line in the past year even in this challenging economy,” explained owner Gray Cabaniss. “In a retail environment as challenging as this one you have to be creative and resourceful to survive. Closing our retail store will enable us to focus on growing and maintaining our two e-commerce websites.”
“Having established a strong presence on-line with our dog related website agathaandlouise.com we now have an international cliental shopping our products online,” added Co-Owner Persephone Cabaniss. “ With the launch of our home décor site A & L HOME we hope to expand our audience to further grow our brand.”
