The children will have an opportunity to experience life at the Animal Welfare Society with our fun-loving, furry friends. The program has proven to be a rewarding opportunity for children to actively participate in the care and socialization of animals. The workshop is from 9am to 3pm each day and includes a fieldtrip, crafts, and lots of time with the animals! Each child will receive an Animal Welfare Society T-shirt, a photo taken with their favorite shelter animal, as well as a great hands-on learning experience.

The registration fee is $200. For more information, or to register, please call Barbara Wilkinson, the Humane Educator, at (207) 985-3244 ex. 109. You can also visit our website at www.animalwelfaresociety.org and visit our humane education pages to download a registration form.
