According to the Red Cross, ..."the purpose of the course is to teach participants how to be prepared for emergencies that involve a cat and/or dog and how to protect themselves and the animal from further harm, injury, and suffering during emergencies by teaching prompt, effective first aid action and care."
The Pet First Aid/CPR class fee is $45, and includes all materials, dvd's, books and Certificate of Completion.
The class will be from 2:30-5pm and has a class limit of 12 students. Those interested must register in advance through The Animal House. Early registration is strongly recommended, as the class typically fills up several weeks in advance.
