Hanson Featured Speaker for Two National Dog Groups
Bangor- Don Hanson, Co-owner and Director of Behavior Counseling and Training at the Green Acres Kennel Shop in Bangor was recently asked to be a featured speaker at the American Boarding Kennel Associations (ABKA) annual Pet Expo in Louisville, Kentucky and at the annual educational conference of the Canadian Association of Professional Pet Dog Trainers (CAPPDT) in Ottawa, Ontario. Hanson’s subject at both meetings was Trends in Training – The Evolution of a Pet Care Professional which reviewed changes that have occurred in the dog training profession. Hanson compared those industry trends with the changes that have occurred at Green Acres over the last 13 years. Don Hanson is a Certified Pet Dog Trainer (CPDT), Certified Dog Behavior Consultant (CDBC), and Bach Foundation Registered Practitioner animal specialist (BFRP).
