WOOFSTOCK 2008

Join us for WOOFSTOCK 2008, our annual shelter/rescue fundraising event on Sat., August 9th at The Lincoln Home in beautiful Newcastle, Maine.

WOOFSTOCK, a joint venture between The Animal House and the Damariscotta-Newcastle Rotary Club, celebrates its 4th year this summer. WOOFSTOCK features seminars and demos, pet-related vendors and services, a Family Fun Dog Show, food and a huge Silent Auction.

Previous WOOFSTOCK events have included seminars and demonstrations in agility, homeopathy, pet dental care, animal communication, nutrition and vaccination, obedience and Canine Good Citizen. We have also hosted clinics including microchipping, heartworm testing and nail clipping. Last year, we had over 500 people and their pets in attendance and raised over $4000 for the seven shelters and rescues in attendance.

This event is non-profit, and all proceeds will again be donated to area rescues/shelters. Please consider our event when making summer plans. It is a great way to get your product/service out there, and its a good cause. Past recipients of the WOOFSTOCK proceeds include:
