April Fools Dip

Coastal Humane Society has rescheduled its annual New Years Day Dip in the ocean to benefit the animals in its care. We are now hosting an "April Fools Dip" on Sunday, March 30, 2008 at Reid State Park in Georgetown. All are invited to dip toes, ankles, knees, waist, or shoulders. The brave hearted will dip all the way or even do the Doggie Paddle!

Participants will gather at 9 A.M. for registration and will dip promptly at 9:30 A.M. Pledge donations are due at the time of registration. Non-dippers may collect pledges not to dip! Collected checks should be made payable to Coastal Humane Society. Participants may pick up pledge sheets at Coastal Humane Society 30 Range Road in Brunswick, call 725-5051, or check out our website at www.coastalhumanesociety.org.

Participants are required to call or e-mail to pre-register. If for any reason the Dip needs to again be canceled, we want to be able to contact all dippers the night before or the morning of the Dip. Call 725-5051 Ext. 19 (ask for Sandy) to place your name on the list of dippers or e-mail info@coastalhumanesociety.org.

All are welcome to support our dippers including spectators, animal-lovers, families, cheering sections, curiosity-seekers, and everyone everywhere! All proceeds will benefit the more than 2,000 animals cared for annually by Coastal Humane Society.
