Protest for Bandit
Please join us in a peaceful protest on August 15th in front of the Biddeford, ME District Courthouse regarding the case on animal cruelty that occurred on June 8, 2007. Bandit, a rat terrier dog, was maliciously killed in Arundel, ME in unfounded retaliation against Bandit’s owner. The person that did this, allegedly broke into the pick-up truck where Bandit was sleeping, grabbed the small dog, slit his throat, further mutilated him and left him to die.
Bandit was a devoted companion to his owners in Kennebunk. Bandit and his owner were inseparable and often seen playing at the Kennebunk Dog Park and walking along Kennebunk Beach.
This is a heinous act of animal cruelty. The perpetrator needs to be punished to the full extent of the law. He is currently free on bail pending a hearing. Please contact our District Attorney’s Office at 207-324-8001 and ask them to fully prosecute this case. A Biddeford District Court hearing is scheduled for August 15th.
