New Adoption Center Opens at The Animal House

A new Pet Adoption Center will be opening on Saturday, January 13 at the 372 Main Street, Damariscotta location of The Animal House. The Adoption Center will feature local animal shelters and rescues to highlight area dogs and cats in need of adoption. The Adoption Center will also feature an area to post pictures and descriptions of any area pet looking for a home. Any dog or cat adopted through The Adoption Center will receive a free gift pack and dog wash from The Animal House. Adoption guidelines set forth by the shelter or rescue will be be followed at The Adoption Center, and are specific to the organization.

On Saturday, January 13th, The Animal House welcomes Maine Greyhound Placement Service, from Augusta, Maine. A representative from the organization will be on-hand from 11am-2pm to answer questions, highlight the dogs available, and discuss the adoption process. Please stop in an say "hello"!

The next scheduled Adoption Center clinic will be held Saturday, January 27th and will feature Northeast Rottweiler Rescue.
