Carden Kennels celebrates busy 2006
Carden Kennels in Bangor had a busy and successful 2006 season receiving Blue Ribbon status in July (the second in Maine). A new play yard was built in August and September complete with a new cottage. An open house in September was covered by 100.3 Live radio. Guests had a chance to tour the kennel, meet staff and watch demonstrations including agility, Rally-O, T-Touch, drug dog, service dog and many contests.
The fall was busy with Pet Photo Day, a CERF eye clinic and a cardio hearth clinic. The eye and heart services were provided by Dr. Alan Bachrach and Dr. Nancy Morris, both of whom are from Massachusetts. About 100 dogs attended the clinics.
