Central Maine Kennel Club is hosting a Match Show for All-Breed and obedience. Registration begins at 8 a.m. The fee is $8 per entry. Mid-Coast Kennel Club is hosting a Canine Good Citizen test from 10 a.m. to noon. $10 per entry. Plenty of shade available. Close to Rail Trail. FMI: 622-9948 (evenings).

Join us for a book launch party for Melissa Sweet's new book about an abandoned dog, TUPELO RIDES THE RAILS, to celebrate dogs and support shelters. At the event, meet adoptable dogs, smile for you and your pet's portrait, play kid games, there will be a raffle and more. A percentage of the proceeds from the event will go to shelters.
